1. In-country Coordination of Humanitarian Aid and UN Agencies

There were several news items this week noting a significant change in the delivery of humanitarian aid to developing or disrupted countries. A UN coordination mechanism has been established and standards are being developed. A paper published by an NGO source suggests that traditional agency-NGO partnerships will be negatively affected.
