Tracking research, resources and reports on healthy, safe, community, sustainable and effective schools.

Welcome to our multiple-source information service offered as a membership service by several organizations. This service is open for general public access until December 15, 2011, after which you will need to be a member of ISHN or one of its partners. For more information on this service, go to About this wiki/blog. Postings to this blog have been made daily since September 2007 and are listed on a weekly basis. This home page presents the items for the current week, but most of the items are not time sensitive, so you may want to browse previous weeks in our Weekly Archive of Postings or by reading our Monthly Newsletter. Learn more about this multifaceted blog by viewing our video web tour.

We also list the SH related articles from an extensive number of professional journals in our JournalWatch. The list is kept on a monthly basis and is a great, time-saving way for readers to keep up with the research.
We are also starting programs to Share Web BookMarks and Share Presentations using social networking platforms. Join us in using a common method for posting these resources and then take what you need for posting on your own web site.

A recent addition to this web site is a set of pages containing national and state reports, articles, surveys results, case studies, presentations and web sites on all countries and states/provinces in the world. We already have information on over 60 of the 200 countries. These pages should be a great addition to the "fast-find" value of this web site.

This wiki uses the Discussion Forum to post threaded discussions on topics such as SH & Academic Performance and National Policies in SH. Please join the conversation by adding content or comments to those threads or start a thread on your own
. Gain control of the email and other notices that you receive from this wiki by joining and creating a profile. Learn how in our video/web tour or, read these detailed instructions on how to manage your wetpaint account or profile). In particular, you should learn how to "watch" and "unwatch" pages in this wiki by viewing this brief video. Or, read these detailed instructions on managing your account from Wetpaint. (PS If you want to know what is new since you last visited this web site, select "Updates" from the top navigation bar, then select the page you want to review from the list on "Pages". Or, you can choose to watch a selected page by using the settings within your profile.
